# Regitap

> Registro de jornada (time tracking required by art. 34.9 of the Spanish Workers' Statute) and vacations for companies, with a REST API to connect it to any CRM, ERP or field-service app. Built to be integrated by AI agents.

How a company connects it: a person signs up at https://www.regitap.com/signup (30 days free, no card), sets a cap of active workers, creates an API key in Ajustes → API and stores it in their software's environment (REGITAP_API_KEY). The agent never sees the key: it reads it from there. The agent then:

1. Creates the team with PUT /api/v1/workers/{their id} (the name is enough; the rest is completed in Regitap).
2. Optionally sends places (PUT /api/v1/places/{id}) and each worker's jobs of the day as tasks (PUT /api/v1/tasks/{id}).
3. If workers use the company's own app, adds buttons that clock in (POST /api/v1/workers/{id}/clock) and start/end tasks, sending the phone's location at that moment. Otherwise workers use Regitap's app.

4. Optionally sends days off and vacations it already knows (PUT /api/v1/absences/{id}) and reads Regitap's (GET /api/v1/absences) before assigning work.
5. Only if workers clock in inside the company's app: a "Ver mi registro" button that opens POST /api/v1/workers/{id}/record-link (their record and leave, without a Regitap account), and an endpoint for signed webhooks (reminders, decisions, summaries) whose data.message it shows to the person.

The person chooses how (workers clock in Regitap's app, recommended, or inside their software) and gets instructions for their agent with only those pieces in Ajustes → API or at https://www.regitap.com/developers.

Rules the API cannot bypass: the record is never deleted or edited (corrections are requests that someone approves, and the original stays); the server sets the time; location only at the tap; 409 worker_cap_reached means stop and ask a human. PUT is idempotent and only changes the fields sent.
